报告题目：Geometric and analytic results for Einstein solitons

摘要：We compute a lower bound for the scalar curvature of a gradient Einstein soliton under a certain assumption on its potential function. We establish an asymptotic behavior of the potential function on a noncompact gradient shrinking Einstein soliton. As a result, we obtain the finiteness of its fundamental group and its weighted volume. We also prove some geometric and analytic results for constructing gradient Einstein solitons that are realized as warped metrics, and we give a few explicit examples.

报告人简介： José N.V. Gomes is currently a professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Federal University of São Carlos, and the Events Coordinator of the Brazilian Mathematical Society - SBM (10/2025-Present). In 11/2025, he obtained the title of Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences of the University of São Paulo.
His previous appointments include:
Secretary of the São Paulo Regional of the Brazilian Mathematical Society - SBM (08/2023 - 07/2025).
Secretary of the Northern Regional of the Brazilian Mathematical Society - SBM (08/2019 - 07/2023).
Professor at the Federal University of Amazonas (05/2010 - 08/2019).
He has also held visiting positions as a visiting research scholar at the Department of Mathematics of Lehigh University (2017-2018), and as a visiting professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (2015).
He is a researcher partially supported by the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation - FAPESP. Since 01/2022, he has been an Alumni Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
