摘要：The Nash blowup of an algebraic variety is a modification that replaces singular points by limits of tangent spaces. It was proposed to resolve singularities by iterating Nash blowups. Despite the numerous encouraging positive results to this question, the answer turned out to be false in general. In this talk we discuss a recent counterexample to Nash's question. This is a joint work with Federico Castillo, Maximiliano Leyton and Álvaro Liendo.
